A subscription, not a filing cabinet.

Renewal Pilot isn't contract storage with a reminder bolted on. It's an active monthly service that keeps working as long as your subscription is active.

Auto-renewal detection that catches what you'd miss.

The AI reads every contract for auto-renewal language — including the tricky cases like month-to-month rolling renewals and "absent-notice" clauses buried on page 9. We use both AI extraction and rule-based pattern matching, so the language gets caught even when one method misses it.

Version-aware portfolio.

When a vendor sends you next year's renewal, Renewal Pilot recognizes it as a new version of an existing contract — and shows you what changed. Rate increases, term changes, new clauses. No more guessing whether this year's "standard renewal" is actually standard.

Amendments stay connected to the contract.

Mid-term price change? New addendum? Change order? Upload it as an amendment and it links to the parent contract automatically. The full document chain stays in one place, searchable, with the original terms intact.

Plain-English summaries on demand.

Every analyzed contract gets a plain-English summary covering what you're agreeing to, what to watch for, and when it auto-renews.

Click-to-source verification on every detail.

Every extracted date, dollar amount, and renewal trigger links back to the exact spot in the original document. Click any answer to see the source language. No black-box AI claims.

Forward-an-email contract intake.

Forward a renewal email or vendor agreement to your dedicated Renewal Pilot address and we'll automatically extract the contract details, classify the document, and surface anything time-sensitive. Skip the upload form when you can.

An AI analysis is a full pass over a contract — extracting dates, money terms, renewal triggers, cancellation language, and key obligations, then translating the legal language into plain English. Each new contract you upload uses one analysis. Uploading a new version of an existing contract also uses one analysis. Uploading an amendment uses one. Editing extracted fields by hand is free.

A contract is the primary agreement — your master service agreement, lease, vendor contract, or SaaS subscription. Amendments are documents that modify an existing contract: change orders, addendums, revised pricing schedules. Each plan includes a generous amendment allowance per contract.

Every Renewal Pilot account gets a dedicated email address. Forward a vendor's contract or renewal notice to that address — even from your phone — and Renewal Pilot will pull the PDF off the email, create a contract record, and run the AI analysis automatically. Works with any email client.

Upload the new version. Renewal Pilot will recognize it as a renewal of an existing contract and let you confirm the relationship. You'll see what changed — rate, term, key clauses — so you know exactly what's different. The previous version stays in your portfolio as a historical record.

If terms didn't change, nothing — your existing analysis is still accurate, and Renewal Pilot keeps tracking the new renewal date. If the auto-renewal triggered an escalator clause, that was already extracted from the original contract, so you'll see it in your renewal alerts.

Upload it as an amendment linked to the parent contract. The amendment's terms get extracted and the parent contract's analysis stays intact. You'll see both together when you view the contract.

Every plan gets email and in-app alerts. Team adds Slack. Business adds SMS and WhatsApp for high-priority renewals (within 14 days, or contracts over $50K annual value). You configure which channels you want active in your settings.

Your existing contracts keep working — alerts still fire, search still works, you can still view and export everything. New uploads pause until your next billing cycle, or you can upgrade your plan to get more analyses immediately.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the charge. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. If you downgrade and end up over the new tier's contract limit, you'll keep access to all your existing contracts but won't be able to add new ones until you're back under the limit.

Yes. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.

Plans are billed monthly. You can cancel anytime — your access continues through the end of your current billing cycle, then your account moves to read-only for 30 days before being archived. No surprise renewals (we'd be hypocrites otherwise).

PDF and Microsoft Word (.docx) files. Most contracts you receive will already be in one of these formats.

Renewal Pilot is hosted on Vercel and Supabase, both US-based providers with industry-standard security. Your contract data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and only accessible to users you've added to your organization.

No. We use Anthropic's Claude to analyze contracts, and Anthropic's API doesn't train on customer data. Your contracts stay yours.

Email support@renewalpilot.io and we'll put together a custom plan.
