Last Updated: December 9, 2025

Our Commitment

Renewal Pilot is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to make our platform inclusive and usable by all.

We believe that everyone should have equal access to the tools and information they need to manage their contract renewals effectively, regardless of their abilities or the assistive technologies they use.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

Current Status: Partially conformant. We are actively working to achieve full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance and continuously testing and improving our accessibility.

WCAG 2.1 Level AA covers a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible, including provisions for users who are blind, have low vision, are deaf, have limited motor skills, or have cognitive disabilities.

Accessibility Features

Renewal Pilot includes the following accessibility features:

Keyboard Navigation

All functionality is accessible via keyboard. Use Tab to navigate, Enter to activate, and Escape to close dialogs.

Screen Reader Support

Compatible with popular screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.

Color Contrast

Text meets WCAG AA contrast requirements with a minimum 4.5:1 ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text.

Resizable Text

Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality using browser zoom controls.

Additional Features

  • Skip Links: Skip to main content link available on all pages
  • Alternative Text: Images include descriptive alt text
  • Form Labels: All form inputs have associated labels
  • Focus Indicators: Visible focus states for interactive elements
  • Error Identification: Form errors are clearly identified and described
  • Consistent Navigation: Navigation is consistent across all pages
  • Semantic HTML: Proper heading hierarchy and semantic markup
  • ARIA Labels: ARIA attributes used where appropriate for enhanced accessibility

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, we acknowledge the following areas where we are working to improve:

  • PDF Contract Documents: Some uploaded PDF contracts may not be fully accessible. We provide text extraction and AI summaries as alternatives.
  • Complex Charts: Some data visualizations may have limited screen reader support. We are working on providing text alternatives for all charts.
  • Third-Party Integrations: Some third-party components may have accessibility limitations beyond our direct control.

We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome your feedback on any accessibility issues you encounter.
